Catalan is spoken by over ten million people and is the key to truly understanding fascinating cultures. But it is also one of the most strategically positioned languages in the Romance family. Sitting at the crossroads between Iberian and Gallo-Romance languages, Catalan shares remarkably high vocabulary with Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian alike. Master one, and you will find the door to all of them already half open.
